welcome8 You have come to a good place to meet others with COPD to relate with and get information from. We don't have all the answers but ask away and we'll do what we can to find the answers for you. If anything, we will at the very least point you in the right direction to find the answer. There are a lot of folks here with a lot of experience with this disease and we'll do our best to make you feel at home and informed. A very special day here is Friday when we have what we call Funny Friday and tell jokes all day. It's a good day to relax and enjoy some Peace and laughter. Welcome again, Sue

Thanks everyone. I am at stage II and 59. I thought I was just getting really old very fast. I have started keeping a diary and exercising everyday. I can do one flight of stairs a day at this point and want to build up to the 23rd floor where I live; this is my goal and I am determined to do it. Mostly looking for healthy and alternative medical ways; diets etc. I do realize that I have to use my rescue inhaler before exercise and meds when I am really sick. Will meet again in the new year with my doctor to discuss questions etc. as I am still in shock. I am looking forward to a happier new year now that I know what is going on. Happy New Year everyone!

Welcome Stokker, you are so right, once you know what the problem is you are half way to figuring out how to live with it. Wishing you a Happy New Year, and a good rapport with your Dr.

Welcome, Stoker. Sorry for the reason that brought you here but glad that you found us. Lots of good information from members based on their own experiences, subject to your own doctor's advice. I find the daily fence a good place to hang out and learn, myself.
