I'm lucky. I drink.
I'm either feeling too good to do anything stupid, sleeping soundly, or too hung-over to exert much effort. I find the days go by just fine. <g>

Good article Peter.
I quit drinking 11 years ago. I would probably feel better if I had some brownies laced with marijuana
We will be voting in my State on Nov 8 for medical marijuana. We have to have 60% yes for it to pass. Last year we didn't get 60%. We got like 56%.
We will see how it goes this year.
I have my days. What scares me the most is the Dyspnea which bring on the panic attacks.
I can not stand that and try hard to avoid it.

They have approved Med. MJ in 3 states with the rest of OZ to follow on, yet that is as far as the ''Feel Good'' part starts n ends....cos no one in the medical profession, pharmacies or support groups have a clue how to access it.....in fact they are still figuring out how to control grow and supply it..........besides the criteria to get approval is harder than to get the disability pension and if it does not go on our PBS scheme, most of us could never afford it.......Besides the quality of the strain offered is a subject of much critisism from the MJ people....... I would love a beer but doubt it would do much but put me to sleep forever when combined with the Xanax and Morphine...... Attachment Deleted

It is legal for recreational use here is Washington but I don't know anyone who has bothered to get any. My town has outlawed it within the city limits so there are long lines of people in the adjacent small towns where it is sold and limited quantities so you would have to be pretty motivated to go stand there with the stoners and risk the shop being out before you had a chance to purchase it.

I'm not sure when medical mj was legalized here, maybe 1998 or 1999. My mom was given a prescription in 2000 for cannabis oil when she had horrible nausea from narcotics to treat cancer pain. It helped a little but the effect didn't seem to last very long, it might help dyspnea but you might have to sit around eating brownies all day.
