From COPD.net, I'm not sure yet, how the drawing for the referenced book works, but in any case looks like should be an informative read from a COPDer. copd.net/living/traveling-giveaway/

i don't travel far now days, as it took awhile to figure out, but finally realized when driving all the different altitudes (i live in a valley) I had to adjust my 02 accordingly. Just went up north to dr & on what seemed small hill i started slurring & feeling "weird" turned up 02 & finally got adjusted, but it took awhile to normalize. on the way home i set my 02 to highest "active level" and had no effects the whole way----live & learn!
but good luck to those that try out.
