Co-morbidity
I thought it might be of value to recognize that often when we are struggling with one illness, we also have other issue or illness to contend with which complicate our care like Gail has mentioned in her posts.
For myself: COPD Osteoporosis Diverticulitis Acid reflux (can be very serious) Hiatal hernia Gastrointestinal issues Bladder issues Dental issues ADD/HD Breast Cancer Survivor

I am very lucky. I only have one serious and it is emphysema. Never had any other serious diseases.

Boy, I really have you all beat! It actually makes me sick just knowing all I have at my age, again I had a very hard childhood, and young 20s were very hard on me, Till I met Bob, then everything started happening in my 30s starting with, 1.(High blood pressure 2.( hiatal hernia. 3.( heart burn. ( gerd ) 4.( Lupus. 5.( fibromyalgia. 6.( psoriatic arthritis. 7.( P.T.S.D. 8.( Depression. 9.(A.D.H.D. 10.( small cell neuropathy. 11.( shoulder cuff tear.. 12.( degenerative disc disease. 13.( lower back and shoulder arthritis. 14.( Raynaud's disease. A lot of my immune diseases come hand in hand with Lupus. 15.( psoriasis and my hands and feet. .( emphysema also causes my lupus to attack my lungs when I be ome ill. I get pneumonitis lungs. As I look at my list of junk, omg! How embarrassing to ever look at it or read it! Nothing but a bundle of walking pain. Terrible. I believe a lot of this was brought on from stress and nerves! And when I'm put on steroids I get diabetes. Omg ok im outta here.

I I really don't know how I keep track. I think because each pain that I have is in a different place reminds me of what I have . Thank you for saying I'm a hero but I'm not really, I just wish I could help somebody else with what I have I do not understand many illnesses that people have and I suppose I could even be worse than what I am. Oh did I mention I have diverticulitis might as well add that to the list. Love you guys and David I agree wow.
