all, I just wanted to tell you that this morning I received an email from someone that got my name off another forum where I am a member. My email address was not hidden there. This email was from a new member and he was asking for help by wanting my bank accoung number. I am letting you know that this could happen on all our forums. I will keep my email address hidden on all forums now. I hope this doesn't happen here. His name was peter01 as a new member. He could be listed as something else now.

I got that e-mail too - Peter Wetego from Ivory Coast. I certainly hope no one falls for it.

I think this should be publicized. Notify all othe forums or sites you visit. Why not contact the authorities and tell them too. There are ways to track down these scamming spammers. As ever. bear.

I saw a Email from him also,I didnt know the name so I deleted it when it was talking about money ect.i swear how dumb do they think we are,We have lung problems were not stupid .bobbioh

Its not a new problem, I have stopped having my email address displayed, thats sad but necessary
