However, it appears in trials that Riociguat revrses Pulmonary Hypertension to
normal in Mice. It appears that there have been small human trials as well and
these were successful.
--------------------------- Right ventricular systolic pressure (RVSP) was increased after 8 months of smoke exposure as compared to controls (Figure 1a: second group “smoke exposure 8 months”, black bar) and did not changeupon subsequent exposure to room air for 3 months(Figure 1a: 4thgroup “smoke exposure 8 months plus 3 months placebo”, dark grey bar). Riociguat in either concentration (3 or 10 mg/kg/d) decreased RVSP to the level of healthy lungs(Figure 1a: 5thand 6thgroup “smoke exposure 8 months plus 3 months 3 or 10 mg riociguat”
