Jaxon, Ellen's (Cocojax's) grandson is quite ill and being sick herself and unable to be there for him or her daughter makes it doubly hard...
She said "My youngest Grandson is really ill, could not stop vomiting yesterday, poor thing is just 2 1/2, he is being kept overnight in the Peadiatric Ward in Hospital, they are doing tests and have him on IV, I am waiting for a call to see how he was last night, so upsetting especially when I am sick and cannot go near him, d**n this disease...I will post later once I hear anything..."
Please keep her and them in your hearts, say a prayer and/or send positive thoughts their way.

Thanks everyone, he is still in hospital, in isolation as they still don't know what is wrong, he vomited again today, and has a low grade fever, he has not had a bowel movement in 3 or 4 days, they can hear bowel sounds so tonight they gave him a glycerin suppository hopefully that will work..Kelly said he is very lethargic which is understandable, they have not put him on an antibiotic because again they don't know what is causing this. Could be some kind of gastro-intestional thing....I have asked Kelly to ask the Dr. if I can go see him, I have been on Anti's since Tuesday, and you have to gown, glove and mask up to see him, so it depends on what the Dr says...it is so hard cause at that age he does not understand, Kelly is with him again tonight as they put a bed in the room for her....

My Daughter just called and said they have now given him an antibiotic and also an enema, so he finally had a bowel movement. If he keeps the medication down and the pedialite drink they may allow him to go home this afternoon...he has certainly had a rough time of it...

Ellen....
Hopefully your grandson has now rebounded (which is the wonderful thing about children;) and hopefully he's now home; or about to.
I'm also hoping that this hasn't set YOU back any as well. These things can tax a person's resistance.
Love & prayers

Again Thank You so much, Jaxson came home late this afternoon, has kept some food and drink down, so we are hoping that whatever this thing was it is over....he sees the paediatrician tomorrow for a follow-up....Thankfully I am also feeling much better, sore throat completely gone, some fresh air and sunshine a little less worry and I feel like a new person...

Oh that's such wonderful news, Ellen. Whew!!! Here is hoping the little guy will be on the road to a quick recovery. Let's hope it was just a nasty virus.

Thanks linda poor thing vomited today again, but we had him to the paediatrician and then to the hospital for x-rays and ultra-sound, nothing on the x-ray the ultra-sound showed nodules in his stomach which means his body is trying to fight the infection. He was so glad to see me today, my heart swelled....although he has vomited he has kept down more pedilite drink, so he is keeping hydrated. Dr said it is just one nasty virus....hopefully he will continue to improve he has been so strong good through this....

Thanks Everyone, he seems to be improving a bit each day, he is still to weak to walk, so hopefully he will continue to keep some fluids and some light food down, so he can get built back up...

Ellen Glad to hear grandson is doing better. It may take him a few more days to get his strength but he sounds like a strong fellow. Also glad you got to see him- bet that helped both of you tremendiously. Thoughts are with you both that he has a speedy recovery.

Ellen, This is first I have read about your grandson. Not been here to read at all. I sure hope he is still mending or all better. We grandparents can sure hurt for the little ones. So young he is.
Take care yourself too.
