2c chopped or shredded cabbage 1lb gr. beef 1 chopped onion 1 can tomato soup and 1 can water 1-6oz can tomato sauce 5-6 T uncooked rice 1/4 t. garlic 1T sugar Brown cabbage, beef and onion. Mix all ingredients together in 9x13 pan Bake 350 for 1hr covered then 1/2 hr uncovered

Linda, thanks I needed that recipe! I got a real good deal on cans of corned beef and I think that it could be used as a great subustitue for the ground beef in your recipe.

What about adding some beef broth to it and turning it into soup? I've done that before.

Sounds good but you didn't specify size of tomato soup - regular soup can or family size? And if you were to add beef broth to make into soup, how many cans of broth (lg size?) would you use and would you then omit tomato soup?

I've made something like that but used the large cans of crushed tomatoes. It's good stuff.
