Please keep our friend here in your kind thoughts/prayers. She's been in a fair bit of pain; might need her gallbladder out. Not good timing since she has that wedding in November to fly to so I'm sure she's concerned about that as well. We LOVE you Ellen......

Hi Ellen, So sorry to hear about all your troubles. I can still remember the pain my Mom was in with gall bladder flare up and it was just awful. Hope they get this taken care of for you real soon. Take care. Gwen

I, too, am thinking of you. Hope it is cleared in the easiest way for you. Yet that it is done so you have no more problems. Will be praying for you.

Gentle hugs I sincerely hope they can get that gallbladder out within a few days. It is outrageous that you aren't having it done immediately. The laproscopic procedure is very quick and so much easier to recover from.

Thanks Linndie and Linda, the Dr. I saw in emerg the second time said he did not consider it an emergency because I did not have Gall Stones, no offense but he looked like he just got off a surf board....I did not say anything about the COPD to him cause he probably has never dealt with anyone with COPD...he did not rate very high on the confidence scale....as he did not even recognize the shortness of breath.....

That is extremely frightening, Ellen. OY VEY!! Have you seen the surgeon yet and discussed it with him?
Acute inflamed gall bladder or Acute cholecystitis is when the gall bladder becomes distended and inflamed, often with resulting localized peritonitis. That "surfer boy" should have known that.

Hi Ellen, just realized what is going on with you. I wish you all the best and a quick resolution to the problem. It's terrible to be in pain with everything else we deal with. I have lived off buscopan periodically for most of my life as I have IBS and I know how much it can help in its own way. Hopefully, you will be kept in comfort until they can take care of the main issue. Warm thoughts and prayers going your way Shelley
