Hi Cheryl and Virginia, You may know freezer jam by some other name. It is jam that is not cooked. Every year we get 24 quarts of strawberries and make jam out of it. We use the food processor to cut up the strawberries. We then put 4 cups of strawberries in a bowl, add sugar and a pectin syrup and stir and let sit for 15 minutes. Stir again and let sit for 5 minutes. Then bottle it. Done! Freeze after 24 hours. I love it as it always tastes like fresh strawberries all year round. It's great on pancakes with syrup! I put it on ice cream! And the perennial favorite, peanut butter and jam sandwich. Phil P.S. Remember to thaw it out before trying to make a sandwich!

Ohhh, I've never heard of it referred to as freezer jam. I've never made jam before, so I'm not familiar with any of the terms. Thanks for the info, Phil.
