Mary posted on the other forum and I thought I post it here also, I know she comes here frequently and I thought I'd pass this on. They can use lots of prayers. Here is some of what she wrote:

I woke up Saturday morning with sore throat and knew I had a bad cold. I thought I had one comming on. Been staying in bed and doctoring it since then. Joe had a cold before me and he went to the doctor and so I just took what he was given to take except for a different antibiotic. I already had all these meds he got.

Sunday Joe went to ER by way of Paramedics. There are six of us and no one can drive but Joe. It was better calling 911. He was having more pain. Been having problems with it. I could still hear the congestion in him. It was the pain and the fact that he almost was not able to breath at one point that morning that prompted his going to the hospital. It had to be bad because he would never have left me here sick. I am being cared for but nothing like having the person that really knows you.

Thanks, Mary and Joe have been through so much and its never easy being sick, especially this time of year.

I agree, any time of the year it's hard when you're ill but especially this time of the year......they've both been through a lot.

Time to bring out Sarah.....
