I received this e mail this morning. Toni is now out of ICU and in her own room. Way to go Toni!!!!!  "  , Mom responded well so far since they actually got the definite diagnosis of C-Diff. The infectious Disease Doctor said that as sick as she was and far behind the eight ball as she was, he was using immunoglobulin IV as an off label treatment in addition to the flagyl and vancomycin that most normal people get for c-diff. Her white blood count has improved two days in a row and she stopped needing the dopamine to keep her blood pressure high enough yesterday. This evening she was moved out of ICU into a normal hospital room. Yay........ I'll keep the info coming, I'll be traveling back to Evansville tomorrow after work, my boss gave me some paperwork to fill out for an intermittent family medical leave, it will make things less stressful knowing that my job is secure even though I've been missing alot. Thanks to everyone for all the prayers for mom and supporting messages I've received. Chelly" |

Great news. Hang in there Toni, I know you will get through all this. A long road I know, but you are one determined tough lady with a family that will help you through. You go girl!!!
