Please send up some prayers for my son as he had a colonoscopy and his bowel was perforated. He had to go back to ER twice before they admitted him and didn't diagnose it until this morning (how sad is that). He is in pretty rough shape and I am hurrying as fast as possible to get out of town. Will check in when I get a pc. Thanks in advance.

Thanks everyone for the prayers. My son, I believe has turned a corner finally and things are looking up, finally. I feel pretty much relieved about his condition at this point. I have to say though, it is sad that someone has to stay their and watch the moves and question all of them in a hospital. I have been appalled at what I see and very agitated that he has to deal with it when I go home at night. So careless and they wonder why they spread the bacteria around as they do. I actually had a talk with them today about gloves, from how to put them on, use them, how to take them off and where they go. I think I could write a book on this journey. to all, and again thanks so very much. Will check back in a few days.

Arlene...... I'm so very very pleased for you and your son!!!! And TY for updating us! I'll keep you both in my thoughts and prayers. You must be drained..... I hear ya on the having to "watch" as best you can and you're right about the carelessness and the resulting germ spreading. It's like a young nurse in trianing I had..... went from one patient to the next, to the next. Head nurse finally noticed what she was doing..... her reply/answer was that she was doing what she was suppose to be doing ..... "wearing gloves!" Now how bad is that? (same gloves)

Arlene; Glad to hear it has turned a corner. Hope it continues uphill. You are so right about the spreading of germs.
