John, They really should replace it. I don't know why they would not if you recently picked it up and have your receipt. If not, send it back to GlaxoSmithKline and you can find them on the Internet for address. I don't have Canada. info. They are not hard to find. I have never had that happen. I have not in a few years of reading ever read of that happening. Doesn't mean it hasn't tho. I don't really know you or how long you have had this. If you have never seen the inside of an Advair, take a used one apart if you can safely. You will see that their is such a tiny bit of medicine that we inhale. Until I saw how small of amount it was, I was always inhaling harder thinking I needed to get it all in. It just dain't much in there fellas! Good luck on the return and let us know what happens.

Thanks Mary AZ. I have seen inside one & I don't think It piercing the blister. I called the Pharm. & they said I had to call the drug co . and they would do a swap if the drug co. would send them a new one. But if they won't there's not much they can do. " right "! So I told them that was not acceptable & they will be hearing back from me. It's amazing some times how insensitive they can be @ times and other times they will bend over back wards for you . It's probably the $$'s . I don't think the ins co will pay for another one. I'm not in jeopardy as I have 28 days of back up samples my wife gets me @ the Doctors office where she works . So I have enough for the mo. I Think! What would I do if I didn't have that availability ?

John Glad it worked out. I have found the drug companies to be very helpful. I cannot believe that pharmacy was not better about handling it.
You will probably get on their list now. Advair has a lot of giveaway items or did in the past. Of course their Advair costs a fortune. Early on with my COPD I even wrote and complained about the pricing of their meds and all the money that they spent on Advertising (4 and 5 years ago) and on giveaways. I would rather have cheaper meds. Since then I have learned one person doesn't break thru a drug company.
Until I got COPD I never realized how much GSK stuff I used in my home. I even use a toothpaste of theirs. I was looking at the website and the products one day. Have a good week.
