I'm not quite sure what to think of this piece; maybe I need to read it again to grasp what's being said better. Many of the drugs we use are derived from poisonous plants; statins would be no different in that regard I think. Then there's the "everything in moderation" .. Again though I must have missed something...
Thanks Joe for an interesting piece.

I will echo Jackie, but what I seen was telling you where to buy the book/or where you could buy the book. It was interesting. I have an aunt that if not for red rice yeast would have been dead, probably, 4 years ago, so have to really do the searching on that. I also went to the Dr.s site./blog Thanks Joe for the link

Oh My I just saw this and firmly believe Statin drugs are not at all good for us.
My Cardiologist from the Cleveland Clinic, my family doctor and I agree that CHolesterol is not the cause of heart attacks.
More than half the people who have heart attacks, have "normal or below normal" levels of cholesterol.
We read an excellent book called the Cholesterol Myth but the author's name escapes me right now.
I also have many web sites with studies and other information about the dangers of those drugs and the cholesterol myth.
