John; I've been taking 1300 IU of C and a B complex vitamin daily for a number of years. I've not stopped for more than a couple of days so I'd never really notice the before and after.
I'm glad it's working for you. BTW; have you heard/read all the stuff lately on Vitamin D?

John,
I take vitamin C and B-12 what my doctor suggested I take. I have since doubled the amount of B-12 because of what the Nexium and pills like it depleteing the B-12 in the body. I did quit taking them because I didn't think they were doing anything but I soon found out in about 2 days my old butt felt like it was dragging big time. I went back on them and haven't stopped sense I take 1000 vitamin C and I take 2,000 mcg of B-12.

I just started taking vitamin C. I haven't got into a regular habit yet - I keep forgetting to take it, so it's a day here, a day there. I have seen all the stuff about Vitamin D lately - Now what does that do for the body? I don't recall. John - Do you take a multi-vitamin?

I did post under Phils Gym an item on diet and exercise, it touched on vitamins. The thrust of the item was if sick or older we need better food and supplements, women more then men, my wife has had to have injections of B12 recently, a doctor can do tests and advise, I mention the doc because some in excess can be harmful.

For years I took many, many vitamins. I figured all I had was expensive pee. ;D
Now I'm taking an Iron Free Multi, Vit B complex, 800mg Folic acid, 400mg Magnesium and 6,000 mg. Omega3 Fish oil, all recommended by both my Cleveland Clinic Cardiologist and my family doctor.
