Wooo Hoooo! I think we're turning the corner here with our friend! I just spoke with Don (Bobbi's hubby). He sounded a LOT better though he's run out of anti's (still has a sinus infection). Considering the stress no wonder he's not been able to shake it. Let's see..... Bobbi's rested well the past couple of nights which means Don was able to get a bit more rest as well. Last night she actually had an appetitie and ate a bit for the first time. She's been on and off the BiPap a bit still. They had "suspected" she might have had a mild heart attck but her EKG, bloodwork and e'thing turned out fine. They suspect it may have been a panic attack. I'll tell ya.... that's not an unusual thing to happen in ICU believe me. (Panic attacks) They're looking froward to her getting moved to a Step Down unit soon! He didn't indicate "when" but the mere fact that they're "talking about it" indicates to me that it may not be all that far away! Anyway; Don said she's doing much better and all in all....... I think so too! Let's keep our fingers crossed, the positive thoughts and prayers coming and let's get her outta there!

WHEW!!! What wonderful news! Keep going, Bobbi, you're doing good..great. As for the panicking, no small wonder. I'd freak out myself. Sounds like the drs are doing right by you.
Don, maybe you need another prescription? I'll bet the sinus headache didn't help you think while all this has been going on. Take care of yourself so you can be energized to help Bobbi when she comes home..
Miss hearing about Poo and Oops, er, Colin. ' Sue

Bobbi's outta the ICU!!!! I'm not sure if she's in a step down or "regular room" Don wasn't clear BUT I suspect (since she's in a room by herself) that it's a "regular" room. Poor Don's still battling his sinus infection and sleeping in the recliner chairs they have. Told him to bring in a sleeping bag . Why they never make it more comfortable for family, I'll never know.Even BIGGER news; I spoke with her for a minute! I didn't want to stay on long; God knows she needs the rest. She said she must be getting better because she's getting cranky. Anydway; I told her I was heading right back here to post and that when she was able sh'ed have a LOT to read and with the numbers of posts.... "you'd think you wre the Queen of Sheba or something:" Don had said that she's still using the BiPap on and off.... took it off to eat her lunch. She's also now bringing up a lot of mucus. A good thing let's face it. She's still very tired and though she has a ways to go..... I do believe she's now making her way back!!!

Very good to hear. Thanks for the update Jackie. Be nice if her husband could get some decent rest. Wonder if he is even eating good. She will soon be worrying about him. Still have them in my prayers.

Oh yeah, I'm doing the happy dance for you, Bobbi! Soo glad you are on the mend.
You'd think the nursing staff would notice how miserable Don is feeling and offer a cot. I'm wondering if there are so many patients that there aren't any left for him?
Keep it up there, girl! sue

I'm so glad Bobbi is showing signs of improvement. I think about how hard this is for Don, Rachael and Cassondra. I remember when my mom was sick like this and how scared and sad I was. They must be so relieved. Prayers for all of you. Poo must wonder what the heck is going on with all the changes in his life recently.

I am so elated Bobbi is doing so much better. God bless their whole family, so many changes. Is there any way one of you guys could suggest to Don that he run down to the ER and have someone check him over for his infection, maybe get some more antis?
The poor guy must be really run down and with him sick on top of it we need to get him some ammunition to keep fighting his infection.
Bobbi is such a sweetheart. I so wish them all the health in the world. Thanks for keeping us posted, even us little 'lurkers' like me.
