Mary; TY for the subsequent info on Wendy last night. Virginia's been doing a great job with the updates hasn't she? I had spoken with her (Wendy) for just a moment y'day as well; didn't want to keep her from getting her rest. You were talking about the pain.... I asked Zoom about that (I asked if she had an epidural) Apparently she had but I believe she said it was making her too sick or something so they removed it. I'm sure today she'll be doing better. Although people can call, may I suggest instead that folks send her an e card (they have that service at her hospital) IF you send it before noon today (they're on Mountain time) it'll be delivered. Otherwise they'll deliver it to her on Monday. Here's the link to do up a card and note. Her name is Wendy Vigil Her room number is 911 Here's the link www.uch.edu/your-visit/gifts-and-greetings/cheercards/index.aspxcopy and paste or use this tiny url tinyurl.com/yl7h7d6

I just want to add something here.... Virginia PM'd me the following this morning as well re: what she had posted on the other forum. I'm adding it here (Virginia... you've been doing a great job with updates... don't be uncomfortable at all.)
I just talked to Wendy, she could hardly understand me my voice is so croaky this morning, I didn't know it or would have waited a while. She said she had a bad spell of swelling last night but better this morning she sounded good , think i woke her, Said she would try to get on the laptop today... "

Thanks, Jackie! I didn't know hospitals had these kind of cards. I only read part of your posting and got up and got a card out and started to address it. But there was no address. Then I read the rest of the message. What a dummy. I think I'll still mail out the other card since I already started it.
....or not. There's no address I can find on the website. Shoot.

I'll get the address for the hospital and post it Susan.
Here you go.....
Wendy Vigil Room #911 c/o University of Colorado Hospital Mail Stop F771 P.O. Box 6510 Aurora, CO 80045
And/or just do the e card (follow the link) it's a piece of cake.
P.S. Not all hospitals have that service unfortunately.

I sent a card this morning. This is the first time I have sent any with a graphic. That was cute. Thanks Jackie for all the info.

Thanks for the address, Jackie. I did send the email card, so cute! But since I'd already started to address the envelope I will send that, as well. They can tape it to her wall or something to cheer the room up.
