I just spoke with Wendy's daughter, Char. Apparently Wendy has some swelling, which is causing severe pain and has developed a few leaks. They have her heavily medicated so she said to try to call her in a few days. Let's hope this is just a temporary set back.

Thank you for posting this Linda. It's truly appreciated. I was aware of it y'day but just couldn't. I should have becasue I had trouble sleeping last night. From the sounds of it, and I think you'll agree, I suspect she she has Subcataneous Emphysema (aka surgical emphysema) which I understand started in her face. Chances are it will spread a bit more yet. Again, I'm only "speculating" but I'd suggest that's what it is. For anyone who wants to know what it is.... here's a link. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subcutaneous_emphysemaLoving thoughts and LOTS of prayers still being sent out to you Zoom! You're gonna be O.K.!

Jackie, thanks for the info. Wonder if that is part of why my Pulmo always checks for swelling on routine checkups.
Thoughts and prayers going to you Wendy.
