Wendy just called and we had a good chat. At first I didn't recognize her voice becasue it was the clearest I'd hears since pre surgery. She wants to thank e'one for all the love, support and prayers. She's also had two "bunches" of notes and cards and well wishes delivered to her room and she wants you to know she's truly enjoying them. Thank You! She asked if I would let e'one know so I'm hoping that what I post here will be carried to the other forums ..please. Also; she's breathing better, moving better and less pain. She's been up walking quite a bit with the walker...... Chest tubes and all. (She has 2) The swelling is going down a fair bit, she's much more lucid (less drugs) though it's still too difficult /challenging yet to "log on". She's making good progress but no indication of when she might be sprung. Needless to say she finds the bed most uncomfortable and tries to stay out of it as much as she can. (Wendy has back trouble) (Also Toni - if you see this .... she's been thinking about you quite a bit; all positive BTW. I told her I'd let you know) The was a bit more but only "chatting" kind of stuff, but, now you have it. It sounds like she's really starting to "come together" so to speak and frankly..... I couldn't be happier for her! Love you LOTS Zoom!

Zoom sent a little note awile ago, she is feeling okay she says and would be glad when they took the iv's from her arm because that would mean not as much pain..She is walking with the walker some....She can hardly use the laptop because she has to wear the oxygen meter on her finger all the time. That is about it.. Love u Zoom

Thanks Virginia for sharing this with us. I've been wondering how she is doing, as I'm sure we all are. Guess you'd have to be a hunter and pecker to type with only one hand.
Keep feeling better, Wendy.
