Hmmmmmm; I've listened to it twice now. Apart from the fact that she obviously has excellent medical coverage to allow travel to, and treatments at, the Mayo Clinic and John Hopkins; she's claiming she went from 27% when diagnosed with "E", (2001 I think) to 57% 4 months later......(these numbers I might be inclined to accept/believe since she obviously had a fair bit that was reversible) BUT THEN
in 2005, 1/3 of her lung was removed due to early cancer. Now her FEV1 is 70%? She also takes half the meds she use to take and no "oral" steroids.
I've got a problem with this one.
(BTW folks) this audio takes a few minutes to load so be patient. You might find it interesting.
Thanks Linda.

I have a problem with it too, Jackie.
Some people are saying that the procedure was rather like LVRS,but the Emphysema would have had to have been confined to that one area. Something is not quite right with this.

I agree. I'm not a Dr. or anything but ....there's something "not right" here IMO. Don't get me wrong....I'm happy for the lady; BUT; this is NOT your usual case scenario....
