I am experiencing a symptom (that is unrelated to COPD) that is scaring me. I am going to wait and see if it's still there next week, and if so will promptly see a dr. It's not an immediate death issue, but potentially very serious.
I want you all to pray that it goes away. And if that's not in the cards, that it's early and treatable.
Thanks, I've never asked for help before but knew I could count on you all.
Sue

Susanny..am asking for a healing white light to surround you and keep you well.
Make a doctor's app't anyway. It could be holiday time for some of these doctors. Best to know that now if you need to go somewhere else. I've had some scares as well. It's the not knowing that's the hardest so best to go ASAP.

Sue; without a doubt! Prayers are going your way! You're with friends and family here. Sandy's right. Please make an appointment; chances are you may not get in until next week anyway and if "it" goes away, you can always cancel. for you.

Sue, of course you are in my prayers, but I too would at least make the appt. and then cancel if not needed. Hope all clears up for you and the scare goes away. Be well.

Thanks, I took your advice. I usually don't jump, but this is out of the usual for me. I just called and she has a cancellation this afternoon at 3:45. This will get it out of the way before the holiday and, hopefully, ease my mind.
You all are the best, really and truly the best.

I am glad there was a cancellation for you to be able to get in to doctors so soon. I hope it eases your mind, and I also hope it goes away.

I appreciate all your caring prayers. I really don't know much more. I am in a lot of pain. There is no sign of anything other than the pain, so right now it is being treated as a possible infection with a 7 day course of antis. I go back in 2 weeks, unless it gets worse. I can't imagine it any worse. If it's the same, or worse, I'll need an ultrasound. I've gotten used to having these weird health issues, but this is something that seems to happen to the women in my mother's and father's families and has been my greatest fear all my adult life.
So, the anti's will work, won't they!!!!! I am bound and determined to have a "healthy" 2010!!! Your continued prayers are appreciated.
Thanks, Sue

I'm thinking positive Sue that the Anti's will work but I also agree with Zoom..... would you care to talk about it? You're among friends here.

Sue, you are in my prayers and the anti's just have to work. Most times our own fears (esp. ones with a family history) create far more pain for us than the actual problem. Do remember that you are surrounded by lots of love and positive thoughts, and it doesn't hurt that medicine has advanced quite well even from our parents time. Take it easy and be well.

A big TY to everyone! All the prayers and good thoughts seem to have done the trick. I only have a half day left of antis and the pain is almost completely gone. By the time I see the dr. it will seem like a wasted visit. And wasted worry on my part.
You are all my angels.

I am so so glad that the pain is almost gone. The trip won't be wasted, and the worrry....we'll, we all become guilty of that once in a while. You had the right to worry. Maybe the doc will do some investigating on it so you do not have to fret so much the next time this might happen; and let's hope it doesn't.

I think all of our prayers are answered every time. I just think the answer isn't always what we want for ourselves or others. It appears this time we got the one we asked for.
