Hi Bruce; I don't "know of" anyone in this trial (they're only recruiting 450 people in the US I believe) but this link (for clinical trials.gov) tells a bit more about it plus lists the states and centres that are involved www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct/show/NCT00391612?order=1If you can't get to the right area ... search "airway bypass" (Broncus Technologies Inc is conducting it ) Good Luck; let us know if you go ahead.... |

Recently I discussed participation in that with my Pulmonologist.
He said what he learned at a conference he recently attended found that the results so far are not too promising.
However, only a very few patients have had it done so far, and to keep an open mind.
