I got a call from the coordinator, Cathy, who was on holidays last week. This is what she told me. Doctor Hutcheon reviewed the scan and it seems that the original nodules have either stayed the same, gotten smaller or disappeared. There are new ones but this is common in emphysema patients. So now, I go for blood tests and an EKG ( I can do this at a lab in town here) tomorrow, then they will schedule me for an angiogram in the next two weeks. If that's clear, then I go on the list. Wow! I feel relieved, excited, yet scared to death! I think my motto will now be "Out with the old; in with the new!" Thanks to everyone here for all the suport you have given me! Toni  |
