Meant to tell you after I had the scan....
There was a large poster/sign up at the clinic that if you planned on traveling especially crossing the border into the US, that you had to get a letter on the Hospital,'s letterhead (Capitol Health) explaining the proceedure you had done because the security scanners would actually pick up the radioactive particles in your blood even though the amount is minimal.

Thanks, this is good information to know and a safe one too. These days, the word "security" or "safety" means a lot. Hope you are feeling well tonight and better.

That's very interesting Jackie. My husband has to carry a letter with him when he boards a plane. The rods and cage from his spinal fusion set of the metal detectors. Oh Bear, leave it to you.

Actually Bear it's as funny as you might think for that's EXACTLY what I wanted to do. BUT.... Hubby was gonna sleep in the spare room (I was sooooooo tired and he snores :-) and Bud was on the floor of the bedromm when I crawled in. I got out of the bed (in the dark) to walk to the dressing mirror to see (stepped on Bud); he jumped up, his teeth raked my foot, Hubby comes back up, I cleaned the scrape....never did find out. It wasn't Bud's "fault" though he did get banished to the office for the night. (He's a heavy sleeper so I startled him) Do I or don't I? Only my technician knows for sure....
