My Jenny is in hospital this evening. She suffered a debilitating Menieres seizure in the afternoon. Your prayers would be deeply appreciated. I'll let you know when she feels better.

Bill, how terrible it is to see our loved ones ill. So many thoughts go through our head. I'm adding my prayers to everyone elses that they find the cause and permanent control over these seizures. (Are they a typical symptom of Meniere's?)
Strength for the both of you, love, Sue

Thanks everyone for your prayers and hopes for my Jenny and me.
Yesterday I drove Jenny to a highly recommended chiropractor who supposedly specializes in Menieres treatment.
Just minutes after leaving his office Jenny began to feel an episode coming on. As I was parking at home, it hit her with full force. These attacks are difficult to describe. Though always severe, they normally begin to subside after four or five hours. This time it did not.
We sat in the van for several hours and eventually I called an ambulance on my cell. They transported her to a nearby hospital, she is still there and they can't seem to get her back on track so they want to keep her for a few more days.
Our DIL has been an enormous help doing everything I would/should be doing if able. It is unbelievably frustrating to be so helpless when the one you love most on this earth is suffering.
I don't want to ramble so I'll just say it again, "Thank you all for your prayers"
Bill

Just an update on my Jenny. She seems to be doing a bit better. (lots of new drugs) Because of the shortage of hospital beds, Jenny has been transferred to long care facility for a few days. They want to keep her under observation for a short while. Our DIL has taking on most of the responsibilities and work load. Our son has been in Edmonton all week but he came home this morning and he will pitch in and give her a bit of a rest. Our daughter is also flying in from Arizona. She's an RN and very bossy. so she will probably want to take over. I'm all for it. As for me.... Well, I'm sure you all understand, a lot of anxiety, difficulty breathing at times because of overexertion. Still, with all the help and support we're receiving we'll survive to fight another day. When I told Jenny about all the prayers you sent our way and John's lighting of the candles, you could see her shoulders relax and a small smile crossed her lips. Thank you each and every one of you. It means a great deal to have friends like you in these times of stress. Bill

Oh Bill
I was so sorry to read today of the seizure Jenny suffered. Thank goodness they have it under control and she is being monitored and in good hands. Since she is getting the care she needs and your daughter is coming home, you should take care of yourself so you are rearing to go when Jenny comes home.
My thoughts are with you both and your family is so caring and helpful. I am glad that she is a bit better.

Bill, I hope today finds Jenny much better. I know she'll be happy to see her children, and it sounds like your daughter will have her ready to go home in no time. I didn't realize that you had this weighing on your mind all the time. God bless you for being such an optimistic guy.
I'll continue to pray for her recovery and good spirits until you can tell us she's tucked away in her own home with you. I know it's hard to think of yourself now, but you need to for both of your sakes.

Good mornin' all. I've just returned from visiting Jenny.
The drugs seem to be working. She's feeling much better and is getting impatient, wants to come home. She needs to be cleared by her doctor before they will release her. He's going to see her this afternoon. Maybe we'll get lucky and I'll have my Jenny back very soon. (keep your fingers crossed)
She sends her love and thanks to all of you, (as do I).
I'm just having a short rest before returning to the hospital.
Thanks to everyone.
Bill

Good news! Now just be sure you are taking care of yourself and rested to be able to be at her 'beck and call'. As Dorothy said,"there's no place like home."
