They moved me to the 7th floor last night...I've graduated!

Had my first bronchoscopy and now proudly pooping on my own!

Have a lot of water to loose so they are pumping me full of lasic to make me pee a lot.

Now eating clear soups and jellos...Yummy!"

Scare


Had a bit of a scare last night which was resolved today. Based on a new Ct Scan of the Bowel, it showed free air outside the bowel. After consultation with four GI surgeons and a repeat CT tonight, it was decided no perferation (there for no more surgery) and I'm good to go concentrate on these magic lungs!.

I also wanted to talk about the wonderful nursing staff at TGH. Of the 9/10 who have taken care of me, there are no words to describe the dedication, the hard work under difficult circumstances, the long hours, demanding patients (who me???) that these people put up with...never complaining and all for little pay.

I take my hat off to you.

I guess that would be scary indeed. TG everything is ok and Toni is progressing. She'll be going home in no time.
