Anneloes is a Dutch forum member, who is waiting for a lung transplant. She is hospitalized now with a heart attack and a collapsed lung.

I hope she is doing alright. I must have been a painful experience. I will say a prayer for her. I wonder if this will affect her chances at transplantation.

Helen; I will sure say a prayer for her...... w/o a doubt! Here's hoping she'll be just fine and that it doesn't effect her Tx listing!

Helen - I too am praying for Anneloes speedy recovery and also hope it doesn't harm her chances of a transplant - God Speed.

Thanks all for your kind reactions. I copy and paste them to the Dutch forum, where hopefully soon Anneloes will be able to read them. I really thinks this helps a lot.
Anneloes is doing well so far. Tomorrow she might leave intensive care to go to coronary care. There they will try to find out what is wrong with her heart and what can be done about it. Part of her heart seems not to be pumping very well.
Hope to get more news tomorrow.

Update
Anneloes is doing much better already. They found out she did not have a heart attack and she is in lung care now.
Fortunately she stays on the transplant list.

Anneloes came home yesterday and she thanks all of you for your support.
She still needs care, and will probably go to a rehab centre in about two weeks time. To get some of her strength back. She will be there from Monday till Friday, don't know yet for how many weeks.

Great news on three counts Helen. No heart attack, she's home, and she gets to stay on the list. What a relief for her!

I am sending well wishes for a continue recovery and hope of a transplant. I would hope that they would want the transplant more than ever since the bad lungs effect the heart.
Here's hoping.
