Long Acting Beta Agonists /Inhaled Steroids - many of us use it daily.
I've an appt tomorrow with the Pulmo Dr. and I plan on asking about this what with all the controversy lately plus with me having lung surgery on top of it I'm quite concerned.
I'll post what he tells me tomorow when I get home.

Scares me Ive been on Flovent 220 for at least yrs. I will be awaiting what you find out. bobbioh

Jackie,
These side effects are one of the cause they are saying to my frail and brittle bones. So if you find time throw that is your questions. Thanks

Also; apparently with this proceedure, they have to spead your ribs. They remove ribs from what I gather when/if necessary (probably becasue they get broken) ..Stands to reason if one'e bones become more brittle....

Yes I have been on inhaled steroids since '88, plus periodic pred. No idea what the bones are like but my skin is like paper.

It's been a year for me now, and my ribs still aren't back to feeling normal.
