I am not sure I remember which section you put the candles. Gwen mentioned at the Fence tonight that Chris could do with a candle. I am here to light a candle for Chris. Also I will have Chris, Gwen and all the family in my thoughts and prayers as they go thru yet more bumps in this road. My heart goes out to you, as I watched my husband go thru a very similar journey. Hang in there. You can get thru this.  |

Mary; "where" the candles go is unimportant. What IS important is that you thought to light one and start a thread.... that was very thoughtful and I know they'll appreciate it. For Chris, Gwen and their family......  |

Chris and Gwen - Like everyone else my warmest healing prayers are being sent your way as you travel this journey. If only I could successfully post a candle I would insert one. But in my mind I see the Candle flickering away to bring healing to your lives.  |

I too, will light a candle for Chris.....and to Gwen, hang in there hon! I'm so sorry that either of you have to go through this but thank the good Lord that you have each other to lean on. Chris....we need your smiling face and all your advocacy around here....so hang in there and do your best to fight the good fight. Gwen, big hugs going out to you and know that prayers and good thoughts are yours for as long as you need them.

Chris & Gwen, I'm sorry, I'm still trying to get caught up on everything that is happening. My heart and my prayers go out to you both. You're both very strong and I pray that your strength stands close at your sides throughout this and that you are always surrounded by love.

Thank you all for your prayers and messages. Something is working today!! Chris is feeling better today and his Oncologist called to say his blood count is up a little so that is good. His sister arrived from England yesterday and I think that has cheered him up a lot. Hopefully this 4 day "rest" will let his body recoup a little. On Tuesday we go for more blood tests and then a consult with his Oncologist and Radiologist to reassess his treatment plan. I am enjoying the weekend with lots of family around and a few "break" periods to get back on track myself!! Take care all. Hugs. Gwen |

Such good news to hear as I get prepared to go to bed and say my evening prayers. A 'thank you' is in order, although I always thank Him when I pray, in advance.
Glad you are able to get some break time, even if it's just to run to the grocery store and not have to rush to get home. A little time for private thoughts and prayers, I'd imagine, is needed. I'd think you feel at least a small bit of relaxed with Chris' feeling stronger. Hopefully the dr.'s will come up with a better/easier plan for his treatment.
I wish I could be there to give you each a hug. One for Chris' sister, too, for being so brave to come over the ocean and across the wide land. God bless her. Did she run into any bad weather during the trip, from Earl?
