Hi All, Just catching up after a week down with the "bug" that Chris' sister brought from England. Been staying clear of everyone, especially Chris, and disinfecting everything I touched, washing my hands raw!! Anyhoo, just about back to normal and home for the weekend. Back to Victoria on Monday to finish up the Radiation treatment and then we get a couple of weeks off before the next round of chemo. Keeping our fingers crossed that we learned a lot from the first round and will be better equipped to cope with the next! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY to Brian and Valerie. Hope you both had a great one. Linndie, keeping everything crossed for you girl. Hang in there. I can't believe the ineffeciency of some medical offices these days. We sure experienced some of that when Chris was first diagnosed and that was mostly due to staff not following through on Doctors instructions. Hope you get everything settled next week. Loved hearing about your "babies" kindergarten fun. They are so precious at that age. Bobbi, are you getting yourself sorted out yet? I sure hope so. Sue, congrats on the "Trainee" position. You will do a great job I am sure. Jackie, thank you for checking up on us. You show us you care in so many ways. Hugs to all Gwen

Well now, what a lovely surprise I had when checking in to read the forum that you had remembered my birthday. We had a lovely meal, macaroni cheese made like lasanya with mince meat, then salmon in orange sauce, and cheese cake and mango for sweet, all made by my sweet sister in law, who is here on holiday from Barcelona Yes, I had a lovely 65th birthday. Thank you all for your best wishes.
