what are the signs that your co2 is going higher? I have felt overly tired the past few days and am having some dizzy spells once in the while also. My shortness of breath has not been so bad. I am on 3 liters of 02/24/7 and I use a bipap machine at night. I also use balloons and blow up two or three times a day. I don't understand why all of a sudden that I am so tired and dizzy. (maybe because I am a blond, !!) Hope someone can give me an idea to check on. Thanks you all. Sunbeam

Hi Sunbeam---I don't know a lot about O2 retention but I think that dizziness and confusion are some symptoms of it, but also I think you should take your blood pressure. If it gets too bad, you might need an ABG test to make sure. Since it's Friday pm, a lot of people may be offline, but I'm sure others will see this and be able to provide more info....don't take change though please and see a doctor since it's the weekend if it doesn't clear up..Joyce

I've got to agree with Joyce. You shouldn't take chances with your health. If you feel something is wrong, it's better to err on the safe side.
