The New York Times had a great article on COPD. It was in the November 29th issue. A Jean Rommes who I know from the Efforts group and the Walkers had a lot of coverage.  |

That was an Excellent article. Finally we are all starting to get some good things going. I read this yesterday and made my day.
I was diagnosed in 2002 and this has been a long time coming. Not much of anything to read back then. Jean also posts on CI. I have always admired her posting about her workout and drive and determination and accomplishments. Joyce would enjoy it if she has not ever read it. I struggle so to lose the weight and working out. She is an inspiration to me but I keep starting over.
I, personally, am very excited. In Canada you got all this stuff going on. Chris had that great writeup. Someone gave the Arizona Lung Assn a grant for COPD and they are getting their act together, which previusly was about nothing.
We were hoping for more from Koppel's and got that with them up on the 'hill' the other day with regard to some legislation and now again in this article.
Finally, slowly. I know many people have tried in different areas for so long and must also be thrilled to see all this.
