Hi everyone thank you again for the warm welcome. This is my 1st time posting, hope I'm in the right place. My ribs get really sore during the day. When I get up in the morning they are fine. I also have very itchy skin, so bad that it breaks out in scabs, I wake myself up at night from scratching, my sheets are covered with blood. I was in light therapy for 5 months last year. I would see the DR. from Halifax every 2 weeks via tele conferencing she thought is was strees. It did clear up, 3 mths later it was back and worse than before. I use sprivia and advair and I think the advair is the one causing it, but they won't take me off it. If anyone has any info on this, I would appreciate hearing what they have to say as it's driving me crazy.

I really dont know what to tell you, Do you think you have the shingles? I would contact a Dr and try to find out maybe if they saw the rash or the place you are itching they could help figure it out. good luck bobbioh

Perhaps you should see a good Allergist to r/o an allergy to your meds. Also it very well could be stress. If that's the case, you need to be seen by a good psychiatrist to work on it. As for the sore ribs, are you breathing properly? ie. Diaphragmatic breathing... www.cchs.net/health/health-info/docs/2400/2409.asp?index=9445

You've probably thought of this, but did you try changing laundry detergents. Also Arius is a good once a day antihistamine. Of course, you should always check with your Doctor first.

Oh yeah, and so is Loratadine. It's generic Clatitin and pretty inexpensive at Sam's club or Wally World.
That is what my allergist has me take daily.

I use to have the problem with the rash had it for about 20 years, when I got rid of my husband I got rid of the rash . Actually I still do get it occassionally, but I also was told it was stress. Until you go to doctor, and many have seen mine and say the same thing, you can get some cortisone cream (over the counter stuff) and put it on it will help. Just a suggestion, that is what I do now. Have a good day Niki, but quit scratching easier said than done. By the way what comes first the bumps or the itching??? Blessings
