Just got in not to long ago from testing today. I am scheduled for surgery at 8a.m. in the morning and check in at 6:30 am. Pretty early, I a little nervouse what with all that is going on. On sending out a message what I did from hospital was to send a picture of me waving to Linda mt, that way she knew the surgery was over and I was OK, Linda passed this information on. My phone would send a picture to a computer but not a text.

Well, what excellent news ... I know that you'll find life so much easier after your surgery (after you heal up - of course). I'll be praying for you & I do have a really good feeling about this.

When you feel like it, write us and tell us about it ... perhaps you can keep a kind of diary and let us know how it went day-to-day so that others may know what to expect.

They say that early surgery means you get a fresh and energetic medical staff ... and since you can't have your morning tea (or coffee) anyway - might as well get it over with soonest!

I saw this at Copd Intenational I wanted to copy it here because I know we are all concerned with miffins progress. They also have set up a loving thoughts page for here there. bobbioh

Muffin had her LVRS yesterday in Seattle, WA. Her daughter and daughter-in-law are keeping me posted.
The surgery itself went well, but Muffin had a problem with excessive bleeding, so they took her back into surgery last night about 2 am. They found the source of the bleeding and fixed it. She is doing much better this morning but is in the ICU still.

I have requested (from the CI management) that a Loving Thoughts book be started for Muffin, so keep checking.

Her daughter, Janice, or DIL, Gina, will keep me posted and let us know when Muffin is moved to a regular room.

Just saw this on Copd International

I just talked with Gina, Muffin's DIL, and Muffin is coming along well. They're now in the process of moving her out of ICU to a regular room! I will be getting a physical address so that anyone who wants to can send a card. I'll post that as soon as I hear something.
