Update on Phil May 5th (Sat)

Hi E'one......I just got off the phone with Shawna (Phil's daughter); today is her Mom's b'day (Pat) and she was out picking a gift up that Phil wanted to give her mom. Honestly, even when the man is in the situation he's in, he's still thinking of others. Sheeeesh

O.K. He's being transferred today to the VG (another facility within the Capital Health group). It'll be the Thoracic Surgery/Specialty floor; he'll still be in a Step Down unit. Shawna tells me he was reluctant at first but is O.K. with the idea now. Additionally, he's tired but she says he's in good spirits.

She's going to call me again once he's transferred and settled in. God love her......she's gotta be tired.

BTW; don't forget tomorrow is his B'day and if you've not signed the Thoughts & Prayers section at COPD International please do so before I print it off tomorrow. I'll be taking it in with me.

I'll keep you posted as I hear.....
