First the positive….. (BTW...this note is slightly different toward the end than the one I've posted elsewhere since this is "his baby" so to speak. .................................................... I can’t express to all of you what your messages meant to our friend today. Personally I felt honored that I could be the bearer of such warm fuzzies!!!! I read some of your notes to him during one of his treatments. (Even I was impressed and moved and they weren’t even for me!) Then he asked me to stop. With tears, he said…..”I feel humbled.” It was a bit too much (but; it was in a positive way) I KNOW they’ll get read and re-read by Phil and his family. You have done sooooooooo much with your notes. Personally speaking….if I could put you all in one room I’d squeeze you till the bad air (Co2) came out ! Thank you. And; he’s talking about the “forum things” he’s gonna take care of when he gets home. The Other… He had a rough night last night. The tube in his chest came out unbeknownst to anyone (2 hours)…..at least initially…till he felt cold air on his back and a lot of pressure on his chest.. I won’t go into details. Thankfully he doesn’t remember anything. From what I understand, and, from what Shawna (his daughter) told me this morning when she called…..His O2 dropped to 60 I believe, his Co2 doubled….it was not pleasant; for anyone. Especially Phil. BUT….gotta tell you….today he looked like he still had a LOT of tread on the tires ! Summary He’s due for a CT scan tomorrow. The Dr’s, and he, will then decide what’s to be done. There’s options. Shawna will keep me informed. He’s eternally Phil…..polite, pleasant and optimistic! As it should be. He’s also looking forward to getting home and proceeded to tell me how he’d get busy with the forum here. I told him we were cleaning up his house etc and getting it in order and functional. I also mentioned that "activity" was down here but we'll work on it. (I’m trying to do my small part by keeping his forum up and going ….but; I can’t w/o your help… Finally; THANK YOU! From me, from Phil, from Phil’s family……..you’ve done more good then perhaps you will ever know….. Keep him and your family in your thoughts and prayers.... Blossom Jackie NS

Jackie,
I write this with tears of the blessing Phil and his wonderful family got by a few little words. Thank you for taking them. Thank you for cleaning up junk that was put here.

Tell us what to do and you will have all of us their to help. All I or any of the others want is for this little forum to make it. Thank you for going the extra mile. Give us a clue which way to go and we will do it . I have been sending e-mails with Phil blessing do you have any other idea's. Pm me if you want my name to talk about anything I can do.
Happy Trails,

Thank you for the update Jackie. I'm glad the notes made him feel good. I can't believe the tube came out. Was it not stitched in? Anythng I can do to help in any way, just let me know. Please pass on my best wishes to Phil.

hi Jackie - sorry to have been away for a while but just got back from Ottawa and then had to catch up on things her. Only just logged on here again to find out the Phil is back in hospital - and on his birthday too. give him my love and tell him we need him back in harness soon - but not 'til he is back on his feet again! Your kind words, kind thoughts and prayers are warmly received. I'll be passing them along when I go downtown again to see him (I'll continue to print stuff off)....
As for me personally; I thank you...
