I just talked to Debbi' Mom and Debbi was doing one of her every 4 hour neb treatments. Lungs were a little rattling but doing better now. Mom said she is doing fair. She does have pain but that was expected. She has morphine and something to click for pain. Probably won't leave ICU today. I like that idea. You are watched better in ICU. Still sounds like just a slow recovery and it is coming along. Mom told Debbi that I was on the phone and she shook her head and so at least she knows I called. She also knows that MaryKY called. At least she knows we are checking. Debbi Howell is her name and the room number in ICU is 103. I am sending an email and hopefully they deliver to ICU. Not sure how this works when they move them. Here is the link again to the email service edmondhospital.com/PatEmail.asp BTW Debbi's birthday is June 4th, Monday.

Thank you sooooo much Mary; ICU is certainly the place for her to be right now. If there's such a thing as "a good thing with 4 hr treatments"; this would be the case. It means she's quite alert, breathing etc....recovery may be slower but IT IS RECOVERY!
Thank You.

Mary; I'm hoping you'll update on Deb here.... we all need to hear "positive" when one of our own is tackling and beating things; even more so when it's even beyond COPD; or in spite of.
I heard that Deb has finally been moved out of ICU to a room......That is SO wonderful!!! I'm just so darn pleased for her.

Hi,
Following is a message posted by our friend, MaryAZ on another forum:
"I called the hospital just before 8:30 PM OK time. Debbi had been moved to Room 320. The operator rang the room but no one answered. I just told the operator to let it go and would call tomorrow, as she is probably asleep.
I am sure she is still not moving around good. Before Debbi had surgery she told me would probably be at least 5 days in hospital. For anyone here that does not know, this was a surgery that would time to get back on her feet and was not without risk. Sounds okay so far. Thankful for that.
Hopefully we will hear more good news tomorrow. I sure miss her. We email almost every night."
Thanks Mary!
Phil

Thanks Phil for bringing the message update here. I would have gotten here with it yet tonight. Just slow. I do about six updates and you are second on list. Have a ways to go yet. Summertime is grandchildren time. Little more challenging this year as this week one becomes 13 and the other 12. I keep going from computer to child. I sure have enjoyed the pictures. Still need more time to really understand all of it. Hope you are still improving. Thanks again.

Thanks Mary and Thanks Phil; Deb's a special gal. Here's hoping she'll now get "sprung" soon!
