Rosemarie, I just read your post in the Gym and I certainly am sending you lots of good thoughts and prayers. I know you'll get over this and will be your energetic self once again. Feel better real soon!

Good for you Cheryl! You were certainly on the right track. I've copied and posted Rose's note from over there, below... " Friends, Just wanted to stop in a minute. And let you all know I haded forgotten you all and think about you very day. I have been having a bout of CHF and been pretty much down for the count. After some medicine adjustment and a shot I took in 89 oz of liquid and put out 3.021cc day before yesterday and yesteday 63oz in and 2,089 out or close to those numbers. Now Nancy won't figure today until tomorrow morning. But I have been put on complete bed rest until after I see the doctor the 6 I believe. I am somewhat upset as I can't even stand now and it almost impossible to even get in my chair. I will have to start at square one again. But I have been there before and I will go farther this time an maybe not have to go back.that time. But as for now I am feeling some better. Very weak but a willling mind so I will be ok. Thank you all for you thoughts."

Rosemarie a prayer just went up for you and many more to follow. You take care of yourself no need to hurry yourself, but it is 1 minute at a time 1 hr at a time 1 day at a time. We want you back but we also want you well. Just think of that walk in the rain. God bless

Thank you gang, your kind words and Prayers are most welcomed and needed. I am feeling not quite so tired yet I still find I want to sleep alot. They came and took the good old blood gases to cover all the basic it was good at 56 so just a matter of the hearth having so much fluid around the heart and the extra work. I will continue to do as I am told and leave the hard part of the healing to God. Thank you all, Rosemarie

CHF is nothing to sneeze at. It is serious stuff. I know, I have been hospitalized with it about 5 or 6 times before I smartened up. A complete change of life style is indicated. Stop smoking, your life depends on it. Lose weight "ditto". Watch diet for sugars, salts. The doctors are there to help you but you must do the work. You are tired because of your poor physical condition. I realize this now because I have never felt better. After my cardiac rehabilitation program I learned that the heart is just a pump and the lungs supply the oxygen for the pump to work and exercise is the medicine that the pump needs to work efficiently. So we have COPD. So what. That is no excuse to feel sorry for ourselves. I walked for one and a half miles last week and you can too, but, only if you really, really want to. I am sending you my prayers and best wishes but it is up to you Rosemarie, You have to do the work the doctors are only human beings, not miracle workers. Hugz, as ever, bear.
