My trip to Normandy has been good was staying in Carentan where the 101st Airbourne had that battle in Band Of Brothers can still see bullet holes in some of the houses. Omaha beach and the American Cemetary Saving Private Ryan destroyed me so many young men had a real cry.
Anyway reason writing is that I'm in hospital in La Harve had an exacerbation the French Doctors wont let me travel yet, hopefully by the weekend. The hospital is amazing the staff so friendly and the food is good.

Larry, Thanks so much for posting about John. Please let him know if you can that we all are praying for him and hope he gets released soon from the hospital. Saving Private Ryan brought tears to many eyes....Joyce "GET WELL SOON JOHN"

Hi Larry; thanks for letting folks here know. MaryAZ had sent an e earlier so I posted at his place.... John's in good hands I think and he must be doing decently well (or he's halucinating ) if he's complimenting the hospital food! Either that or the great food the French prepare is even carried through to the hospitals! We could learn from them...... Regardless; it's not a nice thing to take ill while away from home.....downright scary as a matter of fact . I wish him God's speed for a quick recovery.....
