I'm new here but a long time COPD patient was told back in 1993. I am now on oxygen it seems to me that I am getting sicker each time. Just the slightest cold sends me to the hospital. Please don't get me wrong I'm not complaining. After all I'm 64 and love life just get tired of being sick. OK enough of whining, I am as I said 64 year young, Married for over 45 years ( how he puts up with me I never know) We have 4 children 3 girls and 1 son. 5 grandsons 2 granddaughters. I am disabled live in Sutton Ontario. Would like to chat with others and learn how to cope (hard sometimes as you all Know) You will find out that I do have a sense of humour and tend to be long winded. thanks Donamarie aks Zigben43 P.S. thanks for spell check

Hey Zig (we must have been posting at the same time) so I carried over from what I posted elsewhere....PLUS added some other stuff. & Welcome!!! I'm Jackie aka Blossom. Please feel free to jump in , at any time and on any subject. You'll be more than welcomed! Some folks "pop in" and "check in" on a daily fashion at Over the Fence or the Gym; others contribute ocassionally and some just read. Better still; if there's subject you want introduced; just start the thread. Looking for info on COPD? Tghere's a section or two for that as well. Whatever YOU are comfortable with is fine with us. Any questions? Just ask. We'll try and help. You're in very good & warm company here Zig.....several of our members are from Ontario... You obviosuly do in fact have a sense of humor (fits in great with us here) ...you said you were long winded.... That's a hoot! We try :-) Anyway; so nice to see you here. Pop in/jump in/ mozy in on any thread...whatever....you'll be warmly welcomed I assure you. The folks here are warm, caring and just plain GREAT!

Hi Donamarie, sorry I missed this welcome. You will love it here so pull up a chair and make yourself at home.
We are between selling one home and moving into the other. Unfortunately we are living in hotels for at least another 4 or so weeks.
Like you, I am 64, diagnosed at least 10 years ago, have 4 kids and 7 grandkids.
