Today's Mary's B'day. Surprise, surprise!! Here I was debating on giving her a call and she called me. Darn; she sounded good; especially when you consider the stuff's she's been through. Her hubby was taking her and the kids out for supper no less.
Anyway; she had her 2nd radiation treatment today; the port is staying in for the chemo which they'll be starting again after the radiation for the brain area. I "think" she's having 10 sessions. (The chemo was for the lymph nodes I believe....that's where it initially came back)
They tell her she should start feeling the effects of the radiation (some releif) after about the 3rd.
She feels bad that she can't really "type" well yet.....sits down to do it but it's a problem for her.
Just wanted to let e'one know (especially the many visitors who stop by looking for info)....

I am so happy to hear that Maryky is home and able to go out with her husband to eat. Happy Birthday Mary. You are home to celebrate it and I so hope the radiation will help you feel better soon...Joyce  |
