I just got off the phone with Jackie's hubby, Dave, and he told me Jackie is in recovery and the operation was a great success!!!!!
she did have a small cancerous tumor which they removed, removed the whole lobe it was in along with some lymph nodes to be safe.....doctor told Dave they are sure they have gotten ALL of it and she should do just fine!!!!! Dave also said they will remove the vent before she wakes up and that her recovery will go just fine.......she should be home by the 5th or 6th......
think this is all he said, I was just so darn excited to get the call and here she was okay I still have goose bumps with joy.......

The first question Ms Jackie asked when I was allowed to sneak into the recovery room to see her "Did you tell my COPD family that I made it through" Thank you Wendy and Ellen for letting everyone know. Blossom is now in the step down unit and already giving me instructions so I know she is on her way back. I have printed off your messages and will take them to her. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers I know they carried her through.
Take Care Dave
