New Member: Hi, My Name is Penny and I live in North Eastern Ontario. I am married, 63 years old, one daughter, 3 grandchildren and a wonderful supportive husband. I am originally from Chicago, Illinois but living in Canada the past 17 years! I have very severe COPd and Bronchiectasis and am on o2 24/7. I wa diagnosed in 1995 but know that I had COPD way before that. Each day is a struggle but education about COPD has made my life a lot easier to cope with.

Pennyday, It's always nice to meet new people. I live in the suburbs of Toronto, Ontario. I seem to learn new things about this disease everyday and am sure there is a lot that you can teach us. Welcome, I'm looking forward to learning from you.

Hi Penny and welcome,
You have certainly hit the nail on the head when you say COPD education is one of, if not THE key to allowing ourselves to live a better quality of life.

Hi Wilmt and Welcome. Bobbi started an "official" thread for you above this one so that more of our members will see it and be able to welcome you properly!
