Hi everyone,
I know I've not posted much over the last little bit but I do still try and read as much as possible.
Some of you are aware of the seriousness of my husband, Doug's, condition and the added problems he's had with the hyperthyroidism. He's really been struggling the last month or so and hasn't really been out of the house except for doctor's visits for a couple of months. This evening I found him collapsed on the kitchen floor (actually half in and out of his walker) and was in a state of unconsciousness. He's now in ICU on a ventilator and heavily sedated. Right now it's touch and go so I just ask for prayers from everyone for him and me. He's the love of my life and I've not had him in my life nearly long enough but also know that he can't continue to struggle and half-exist much longer.
Thank you for being the caring community you are with such big hearts and open arms.

Mary--I know you are so worried about your husband, and I will be praying for him and his recovery. You need our prayers too and you have them for strength and courage.
