Hi All! I am Brian,I am 55 and live in a small (pop.500) village south of Moose Jaw Saskatchewan. I was Dx in 2001, have been "retired" and on oxygen since. My last PFT said I have 30% function. I am married to a fantastic woman (she has to be to have put up with my stuff ) and have five children from 36 to 13 and five grandkids. Summer is good for me as I am able to get out and putter around in the garden and my greenhouse as well as fishing and camping (sadly I don't do anymore backpacking, mountain climbing or moose hunting..the hills have just gotten too steep over the years) Winter on the other hand is when I am basically locked in from November until March.Cold air hits my lungs and it's like getting hit in the chest with a board. You'll be hearing a lot from me then . Well enough of the book for now.I look forward to meeting and getting to know lots of you. Brian

Well Brian; it's nice to meet/see you though I'm not sure why your picture is taking awhile to load (the server might be slow today) Good for you getting it uploaded! If you want to add an avatar, click on "Profile" (top of the screen), then click "Modify Profile" Look down to to where it says Avatar, choose one from the drop down box, then at the bottom click "Modify Profile" Voila! You can always upload/change it later on. This will just get you going for now. When you said where you lived I thought....hmmmmmm So is your name of Wildoats becasue of where you live (on the prairies) or becasue you sow(ed) your wild oats? Maybe both? I'm very familiar with SK....I lived in Alberta for 12 years and had a good frined that I would visit in your province. Sounds like you have quite a family! This is good. I hear ya on the cold weather and the breathing. I'm like that myself these days. Anyway; thanks for sharing with us!
