I hope no one will be upset because I brought this over here.Mary&Joe need all the prayers they can get. Needle Biopsy Results « Thread Started on Yesterday at 11:12pm » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am going to post below exactly the post I made on the forum where I had asked for input on Needle Biopsy. Just knowing that will make what you read make sense. I just do not want to keep typing this. I am leaving this because Roadtrip saw my message and was kind enough to post here and provide me information to help. I wanted to put the results here also as a follow up to her post. "I really appreciated all the responses that I got on the topic of Needle Biopsy. I said I would share the outcome. My husband, Joe, does have the rare Pulmonary Infection that he was originally diagnosed with. He may even have some new heart problem. The biopsy shows he has squamous cell carcinoma. There is a Pet Scan being scheduled and I cannot tell you anymore about the cancer until we know where the cancer is. We will hope and pray it has not spread much. He started with a growth and that has grown. Joe has Stress Test Wednesday and another heart test on 30th. Pulmonary Dr. told him today that he would need those tests anyway, whether surgery or treatment were done. Joe's COPD is mild and surgery could be an option. He has been more SOB lately and the Pulmo thinks it is heart related. Also, I did do a little reading on the Cancer Message Board that was referenced a couple times in the Biopsy topic. I will probably be reading more there. Thanks for the link. Again, thanks for the help. I will find some way to update but at this point it becomes cancer and not COPD issue. I will let you know when I decide. Depends on what we find out. I had to come back and edit. I am not thinking straight today. I can update on "This & That". Don't know where my thinking was. !"

By all means Doris; and no; no one would be upset. They've been through their share of problems over the years but always very supportive of each other as well as supporting those on the forums.
Of course I'll say a prayer or two. Mary has certainly done the same for me and many others.

Doris, Thank you for your caring ways. You are a good friend. I was surprised to see you here. You take care yourself too.
Thank you all and I appreciate the prayers. I will let you know at any time that there is anything to really share.
PetScan is set for Thursday. Pulmo Dr. is set again for Febarury 1st. I wonder if he gets results might be sooner that we hear. Joe is not doing too good and we are not sure what is the cause of the particular problems.
Thanks again. Jackie you take care of yourself. I have enjoyed following Joyce and her rehab. Hope she is okay.
