Hi Jackie; I've just recently found out about my COPD, and Enphysema. (Yeah right, 2 years ago). :-) In looking back, I sure didn't take it very "Serious"! Sure, I've been using my two different puffers, and Spirva, but I really didn't realize that "Cutting down" on my cigarettes, from 40 to 10 or 15 a day, was still smoking! Guess I thought I was just "A little bit pregnant"!! That was til last Tuesday, while at my A/A meeting, "I Couldn't get a breath"! The ambulance was called, and Thank God, one of the members also had our disease, and taught me how to "Slow Down" and breath in through my nose and out through my pursed lips. (I learned a lot that day). I haven't had a cigarette since Saturday, and I'm on the patch. I'm new to this web site of yours, (as you know) but I intend to be an active member. My middle name is Lucky. (True).:-) I just got up to use the bathroom and thought I'd just check this out. I'm off to bed again (02:30) in the morning, but I'll come back this afternoon (Monday). Nice to meet you. Warmest Regards, Lucky R. Eplett Parksville Vancouver Island.
