I have been negligent in posting a great deal lately re: MaryAz and hubby Joe. One of the problems is that they ran into more testing; specifically on Joe's heart becasue of his SOB and the cardiologist wouldn't clear him for treatments. So often with all of this it's "hurry up and wait".
I received an e mail, from Mary last night......
"We are okay now. One week was overwhelming. Friday was bad news. Angiogram was okay today and that was good news. Still no results on the Brain Scan done on the 12th. They are checking on it.
Don, our son from Utah showed up surprise Sunday 2 AM. That was a Good Surprise. I am sure it helped Joe a lot. Joe is not himself now. My heart just hurts for him. I think he can be himself yet this week but everyday seems he has been stabbed, burned, drawn on or something. "
She didn't say, but I gather that assuming the brain scan was OK; they'll begin the chemo and radiation next week.
The sooner the better I think.
