Actually, John missed a keystroke. It's melwl, but thanks for the welcome everyone. It's good to find support like this. Just a bit about me. Quintuple arterial bypass, prosthetic mitral valve and congenital heart defect repair on April  /03. Seven years older than I would have been and just recently started to experience the breathing issues "emphesyma" the docs said were a possible effect of my extended time on heart/lung machine for the surgeries. I have a great family physician who says he's up for the challenge of keeping me ticking, so life is good. |

Sounds like you have a great doctor. Here's hoping you don't have any more major issues and can enjoy life now.
If you go into your profile and look further down there is a place you can add where you are from. It's always nice to know what country everyone is from when talking about weather, drug names/availability etc. ...only if you want to tho.

Hi Mel. For a man with a few health issues, you sure do have an upbeat attitude. It really helps when you have a dr. who you like and can trust their judgment. Hope to see you around some more!
